Join us via Zoom at 8AM on Wednesday, May 6 as we discuss selections by Simon Weil. Please refer to the Nuntius for the Zoom link.
Simone Weil (1909-1943) was a French philosopher and mystic. Albert Camus famously described Weil as “the only great spirit of our times.” She leaned increasingly toward religion throughout her life, and explored ideas such as decreation, the abolition of political parties, and compassion and metaxy. We will be reading selections from both Waiting for God and Gravity and Grace.
