First Responders' Day is almost here!
First Responders' Day is next Tuesday, October 1 at Ridgeview. Numerous local agencies will set up in our school parking lot with their vehicles and gear and talk to our students about what they do in their day-to-day jobs.
On Tuesday, October 1, our parking lot will be closed from 8:45am until 2:30pm. Morning drop-off and afternoon pick-up at the school will be conducted as usual, but everyone must park off-campus. Volunteers and visitors must move their vehicles out of the parking lot no later than 8:45am.
Alternate parking has been secured at the following locations:
LifePointe Church, 900 E. Prospect Rd. (0.6 miles from Ridgeview) Use the back parking lot, on the Lake Street side of the church and try to park on the outer parameters on the lot.
St. Luke's Episcopal Church, 2000 Stover St, Fort Collins, CO 80525 (0.7 miles from Ridgeview). Use only the EAST side of the parking lot.
EPIC Center, 1801 Riverside Ave, Fort Collins, CO 80525
Our Saviors Lutheran (0.3 miles), 2000 S. Lemay Ave. Use only the North & South sides of the lot.
You can also park along Stuart Street and near Edora Park. Ridgeview does not have permission to park in the Stuart Business Park. If you choose to park on a street, please pay careful attention to parking time limits and permit restrictions. Ridgeview cannot be held responsible for parking tickets or towing.
Weather note: Please be sure to dress your students in warm layers with a water-resistant outer layer in case of inclement weather.
