Ms. Heater
Ms. Heater grew up in Wyoming. She attended St. John’s College in Santa Fe which has a “Great Books” curriculum. Her senior dissertation explored the relationship between religion and atheism in “The Abyss” by Margurite Yourcenar. She went on to study Mathematics at the University of Montana where her thesis centered on computational solutions to partial differential equations. She has completed further graduate studies in Mathematics Education with a focus on student problem solving.
In her many years of teaching Ms. Heater has taught basic Algebra through Differential Equations. At Ridgeview, she has taught Middle School Math, Pre-Algebra, Algebra I, and Algebra II.
Ms. Heater is an avid contra dancer. She enjoys baking and knitting. She is creative with a passion for art. She enjoys being outside as much as possible through long walks and time in her garden.
