Where were you born and where have you lived?
I was born and raised in Denver. I returned to the Denver area after college and lived and taught there for 8 years until I moved to Fort Collins in 2011.

Where did you attend university or college?
I attended Northwestern College in Orange City, IA.

What kind of reading do you most enjoy doing?
I enjoy reading well written history and historical fiction and mystery.

What are the small essentials that make life more comfortable?
I'm pretty easy going and comfortable in most places, but I do enjoy a cup of coffee and/or tea in the morning. 

What are your favorite snacks?
I enjoy dark chocolate and sweet treats and mixed nuts.

What do you do to unwind?
I enjoy getting up into the mountains for a hike, paddle boarding or sitting on my front porch with a good book.

How could a parent volunteer help you most?
I'm always happy to have help with filing papers, cleaning desks and sharpening pencils and occasionally changing bulletin boards and decorating the classroom.
