Mrs. Narayanan

Mrs. Narayanan, Sixth Grade TA

Mrs. Narayanan is a Teacher’s Assistant for Mr. Trosper’s 6th grade class at Ridgeview Classical Schools. She holds a Bachelor of Science and an Associate of Applied Science in Computer Information Systems. Prior to joining Ridgeview, she spent 10 years working in the IT field as a Tech Site Assistant at various Poudre School District schools, including Traut Elementary, Zach Elementary, and Fort Collins High School.

Originally trained in Computer Technology and experienced teaching Kindergarten through 6th grade, she now supports all subjects in the 6th grade classroom. She finds working with students deeply inspiring and is motivated by their growth and success.

Outside of the classroom, she enjoys a wide range of creative hobbies, including jewelry-making, cooking international foods, baking, painting, and sewing.

Q & A with Mrs. Narayanan

Where were you born and where have you lived?
I was born in India, specifically Southern India. I moved to the United States and have lived in North Carolina, South Carolina, and Colorado.

Where did you attend college?
I attended the JBAS Women's College in Chennai, India.

What kind of reading do you enjoy?
When I was young, I enjoyed reading classic Indian stories from the Amar Chitra Katha. As I got older, I began enjoying ancient epic stories called the Ramayana and Mahabharata. 

What are the small essentials?
I love cooking, baking, making jewelry like earrings and necklaces..

What do you do to unwind?
I love listening to music, watching movies and playing games with my family, going to restaurants, shopping, and watching the birds that visit my garden. 

What are your favorite snacks?
I love Toffees, Lindor Truffles, Coldstone Icecream, all Indian sweets and snacks.
