Mrs. Guyor was drawn to Ridgeview’s commitment to the classical tradition and its focus on developing students both morally and intellectually. She values Ridgeview’s relationship-driven community and its emphasis on helping students build a foundation for an ordered and happy life. Q & A with Mrs. Guyor
Where were you born and where have you lived?
I was born just outside of Chicago and lived the first part of my life in the midwest and Ohio. My family moved to Colorado in 2005.
Where did you attend university or college?
I attended Purdue University and studied abroad in Strasbourg, France. I have a Master's degree in Classical Education from the Templeton Honors College at Eastern University.
What kind of reading do you most enjoy doing?
I like to have a variety of books in process and particularly gravitate toward American and Russian literature, political philosophy, and pedagogy.
What are the small essentials that make life more comfortable?
A fine pen and journal, fresh flowers, and beautiful artwork.
What are your favorite snacks?
Protein drinks
What do you do to unwind?
I love to workout with my daughter and study. Gardening, knitting, and drawing are three hobbies I would like to resurrect.
