Miss Christensen

Miss Christensen is originally from Bozeman, Montana, and came to Fort Collins to pursue her college education from Colorado State University, where she graduated with a B.S. in Psychology. She fell in love with the natural beauty of Colorado and the community of Fort Collins, and has stayed since graduation to pursue a career in supporting high-quality organizations in the educational and non-profit fields. She is a firm believer in the importance and purpose of Ridgeview's mission in the community. Miss Christensen is also a classically trained ballet dancer and enjoys performing any chance she gets. In her free time, Miss Christensen enjoys reading, spending time with loved ones, and exploring the beautiful nature in our area. 

Q & A with Miss Christensen

Where were you born and where have you lived?‍ ‍

I was born right in San Francisco and was raised in beautiful Bozeman, Montana! Growing up on farmland surrounded by the beauty of God's country gave me an appreciation for the great outdoors. I moved to Fort Collins for college and have absolutely loved it ever since.

Where did you attend university or college?

I attended Colorado State University here in Fort Collins.

What kind of reading do you most enjoy doing?

I love reading the classics as well as new fiction, but my favorite category currently is probably literature from the beat generation- Kerouac and Ginsberg, etc. I also very much enjoy poetry and prose- I'm proudly subscribed to Harper's Magazine for my daily short reading.

What are the small essentials that make life more comfortable?

Good quality coffee and tea, incandescent light bulbs (warm tone!), a candle that reminds you of a favorite place.

What are your favorite snacks?

Dark chocolate of any sort and anything crunchy!

What do you do to unwind?

I love to light a candle, sit at my desk with a cup of tea, and write! I also love ballet and yoga, and always feel better after a difficult ballet class.
