Where were you born and where have you lived? I was born in San Francisco, CA; I’ve lived there; in suburban Washington DC; Columbus, OH; New Orleans, LA; Carbondale, Il; Gettysburg, and State College, PA.

Where did you attend university or college? I got my BA in Art, and my MA in Classics from San Francisco State University; I got my MA in Linguistics, and my PhD in Classics from The Ohio State University.

What kind of reading do you most enjoy doing? I read a lot of non-fiction on topics in Classics, Linguistics, Theory of Mind, and Science, but I also enjoy SiFi, and mysteries.

What are the small essentials that make life more comfortable? Coffee, Curry, Cats

What are your favorite snacks? Quesadillas, Ice Cream, I should probably include something healthy here too, how about fruit. Fruit’s a good answer, yes?

What do you do to unwind? Ride my bike, hike, art (photography and painting), play music badly, read, do crossword puzzles, hang with the catniks.
