Mrs. Douglas

Mrs. Douglas is a parent of two Ridgeview students, both have attended Ridgeview since Kindergarten. She volunteered at Ridgeview for several years before becoming a playground monitor, eventually transitioning to the front desk and Volunteer Coordinator roles as a natural next step. With a professional background in marketing, she now enjoys sharing Ridgeview’s story as the Media Coordinator.

Throughout her career and personal life, Mrs. Douglas has worn many hats: fitness instructor, marketer, web designer, social media specialist, event planner, designer, manager, wife, and mother. This diverse blend of experiences equips her with an open-minded approach to a wide range of challenges, though she considers motherhood her most challenging and rewarding role.

Mrs. Douglas is grateful to be part of the Ridgeview community and looks forward to many more years of serving the school.

Where were you born and where have you lived?

I was born in Texas, but lived most my life in Colorado. My husband and I spent 8 years in South Lake Tahoe, where we got married and had kids.

Colorado State University

Nonfiction

What are the small essentials that make life more comfortable?

Coffee

What are your favorite snacks?

Chocolate with peanut butter

What do you do to unwind?

Spend time in my garden with my chickens.
