RCS Places 3rd at CSU Math Day Small Schools Competition

Congratulations to Ridgeview’s math team on winning 3rd place in the CSU Math Day Small Schools Competition! There were 32 teams at the double-elimination tournament on November 7, and Windsor Charter Academy alone had 5 teams! Led by William C., Ridgeview’s team defeated Windsor D, then showed its grit and strength of character as it emerged victorious in three tense matches against Twin Peaks, Steamboat, and Windsor C, before finally suffering its first loss against Windsor A. Ridgeview won against Liberty A, but then barely missed the championship in a dramatic, double-overtime rematch loss to Windsor C.
