Mock Trial Team Heads to State!

Thank you for your support last week for the mock trial students.

The online tournament is a bit of a chore: tech difficulties, lack of engagement, tech difficulties, etc. Nevertheless, the students pulled through and performed well.

Paige W. won best attorney for the weekend. Her lawyerly skill at asking questions, defending her witnesses, entering evidence, and much more continues to be of the highest caliber.

One of our teams also won the Professionalism Award. For each round, the three scorers gave up to three points to the teams they considered to represent good sportsmanship, present themselves in a professional and engaging manner, and are just all-around polite during the competition. This award has come to us a few times over the years.

This same team also beat out Loveland Classical to take 2nd place overall (behind Rocky) and earn a place at the State Tournament this March.
