Boys Soccer Season Recap 2023

The Hoplites recently concluded their second season as a newly formed team. Many of our student-athletes demonstrated tremendous courage by trying a new sport, and a handful of returning soccer players learned a new position to meet the needs of their team.

With the help of their tremendous coaching staff, Hoplites spent many hours at the park to improve their dribbling, passing, and shooting skills. Despite finishing without a winning record, our 5th, 6th, and 7th grade students laid a platform on which Ridgeview can build a strong soccer program! We will miss our 8th graders next season, as they will no longer compete as Hoplites. We are proud of the skill and leadership demonstrated by them in order to support their teammates.
