A Turkey Shoot Update!

Dear Ridgeview,

Since 2015, the Annual Turkey Shoot has brought families together in friendly competition and comradery to do something uniquely Western, something specific to the season, and something particular to Ridgeview. While we believe that this remains a popular event among our community, we are seeing lower participation numbers this year than we have in previous years.

This weekend's Turkey Shoot will now be a "Ridgeview Community Day" at Great Guns on Saturday, November 13. This event will run from 8:30am to 12:30pm and will consist of non-competitive shooting events (trap, skeet, sporting clays, pistol, and rifle). Anyone who purchased tickets will be refunded, and range fees will be paid directly to Great Guns by each participant upon arrival on Saturday. Great Guns charges $10 per shooter (includes two paper targets) and is offering member pricing on clays. Participants are welcome to arrive and depart at their leisure.

We will hold our raffle at 12pm in the clubhouse, and coffee and cookies will be served at that time. Children's activities will include a turkey craft and coloring, and children ages five and older may shoot with adult supervision. T-shirts are still available for purchase online and will be available at Great Guns.

We hope that this event will provide our community with an opportunity to come together and celebrate the season. We look forward to seeing you there!

Kind regards,
