Mrs. Straubing, Upper Elementary Department Head
Mrs. Straubing earned her degree in Political Science from the University of California, Los Angeles, and began her teaching career in the inner city of Los Angeles, where she taught first and second grade. She later transitioned to a charter school with a flexible schedule to accommodate her growing family.
While raising her three children in Colorado, Mrs. Straubing remained active in education through private tutoring, substitute teaching, and serving on school boards. She eventually taught grades six through eight at Colorado Early Colleges before joining Ridgeview Classical Schools in 2024 as a sixth-grade teacher. She is currently the Upper Elementary Department Head and is grateful for the opportunity to work with Ridgeview’s dedicated students and staff.
