Miss Elliott

Portrait of Miss Kelsea Elliott, Kindergarten Faculty at Ridgeview Classical Schools

Miss Elliott is Ridgeview’s kindergarten teacher and has been teaching kindergarten since 2014. She spent her first five years in Texas public schools before moving to Fort Collins and joining Ridgeview, where she has been an integral part of the early childhood team. She holds certification in early childhood through sixth grade education and specializes in whole-child development with a particular focus on the primary years. In addition, she is certified in both Special Education and teaching English Language Learners.

A graduate of the University of North Texas, Miss Elliott earned her B.S. in Elementary Education with honors, double-minoring in Special Education and ELL. She believes deeply in understanding the diverse needs of young students and in creating a supportive environment for all learners. She was drawn to Ridgeview for its emphasis on character education, strong phonics instruction in the early grades, and its expanding outdoor program.

Miss Elliott was born in Tennessee and spent the past 20 years in Texas before relocating to Colorado. Though new to Fort Collins, she has long loved Colorado’s beauty and is enjoying the seasons, outdoor opportunities, and the lifestyle the state offers.

Sports have played a significant role throughout her life, and she shares her passion for soccer by serving as the head coach for Ridgeview’s middle school girls’ team. She cherishes the opportunity to coach former students and appreciates the chance to engage with an older age group through athletics.

Outside of school, she enjoys playing recreational sports, skiing, hiking, camping, paddle-boarding, rafting, exploring local towns, spending time with her dog and family, relaxing with a candle, and taking in the natural beauty of Colorado.
